New York Fashion Week Report: BCBGMAXAZRIA
BCBGMAXAZRIA Spring 2012
As some of you might know, New York Fashion Week has started a few days ago, and I haven't had the opportunity yet to watch all the shows but 2 of them already caught my attention, but today I'll just let you gush over the fantastic prints and elegant dresses presented by tunisian born designer Max Azria, owner of the brand BCBGMAXAZRIA (among others), wows the audience with his Spring 2012 collection,
full of low-key color blocking, with cool but bright colors such as blue, coral, emerald green, which are so in these days. Seems like the blocking trend isn't going anywhere anytime soon!
Geometric shapes, color blocking, giving a bit of a tribal feeling to the whole collection, sets up a different vibe. The make up is basically nude, returning to our previous trends last year, and I don't really get the hair...
This Jumpsuit is umbelievable. Love it/Want it! #Wishlist
Maxi dresses ruled the runway, simple accessories, beaded sandals, texture, giving the whole collection a simple, a bit laid back, yet elegant style.
Apparently the It Colour of Spring 2012 is turquoise. What do you think? I love it!

To me the best thing was the whole mix of colors, everything was perfectly matched. Also the textures and geometric forms, give it a different touch to it, I think that Max Azria definitely set the brand's game up with this collection.
More from my New York Fashion Week faves soon, as well as some trend alerts!!
Ciao!
