Hi everyone First of all, thanks for voting on my poll, It is important to me, and to you guys also, that we interact so we can make this blog better and better. I know, I haven't been updating as much as I wish I did, but, I have a good reason, as I am making sure that the collection is perfect. Also, I had the AMAZING opportunity to visit my dear friend Taibo Bacar's expo at the National History Museum. Will post about that later on, still editing ;). So, what's happening this week? *giggles* So this is going to be a heavy partying week, I can't believe it. I am going to have such a crazy week, I want to skip work LOL but I can't. Not all of it at least ... Anyway, The program is once again in Portuguese, but I know my fellow Mozambican will understand it clearly. When, where, what time. My runway show will be happening on the 6th of December, Tuesday, 9pm at the Standard Bank HQ. Don't be late or you will miss it. Stay tuned as there might be...

Hey everyone So, Mozambique Fashion Week is happening in less than two weeks. Saying this outloud is way more frightening to me than to you, I guess, but It's also exciting. So Tuesday I went to the Press Conference at Polana Serena Hotel , to hear what was the program and everything. Check the Promotional Spot (in Portuguese): Awesome right? I already feel like dancing a whole week long!!

Anyway, lets have a look at what I found in PFW - Paris Fashion Week , shall we?     Dior  After the Galliano scandal , Dior has toned down their collection, while looking for an equally great replacement for the amazing yet unlucky designer.

Isis Mbaga Is our very own Mozambican Fashion Designer, has been working in the Fashion Industry since 2005, when even the same industry was almost nonexistent in the country. Also known as a renowned fashion journalist, has launched a book named "Retalhos de Tecido e Arte" ( Patchwork of Fabric and Art ). She also works in other areas, namely, production of fashion events, coordination of projects (competitions and exhibitions) workshops, she has participated in five editions of Mozambique Fashion Week, Vocational training for three months in Paris, participation in the biggest African fashion event, the International Festival of African Fashion (Niger-Niamey), among others.
