Solange Knowles in South African Elle Magazine!

So, when I heard that miss Solange Piaget Knowles was just a mere 50kms away from me, in Cape Town, doing a photoshoot for @ELLEmagazineSA I got all teenage-fan-wants-to-meet-one-of-her-fashion-icons-MODE. I was histerical and telling everyone around me that "SOLANGE is heeeeeereeee"! But oh well, like the rest of the world, I had to wait for the magazine to go for sale, for two long months. And here it is, and it is awesome, and I bought it and her interview was the first thing I read.

But let's stick to the facts, for Elle Magazine South Africa it was an even bigger accomplishment, as editor Jackie Burger stated that "It was a real coup for ELLE to shoot our first international celebrity on home ground; a dream-come-true experience made possible by the collaboration and support of Rimmel. Watching the Elle team produce a cover campaign of international standard will definitely remain on of my most treasured moments as an editor". And we are as proud as you, certainly!!
